Unify Basecamp™ does not require a large upfront capital investment, so the answer to this question is probably yes. It’s what’s known as SAAS (Software as a Service) and is supplied on an Agreed Term Lease so is OpEx rather than CapEx. It can then utilise all of the reliable power and resources of the local machine without compromise, and everything can be viewed quickly and easily without the need for tedious scrolling. Data is then stored at our highly secure, ultra-modern, UK-based data centre where it is safe and fully under our control and where it can be shared dependably by multiple Unify Basecamp™ users.

Still think you need a Cloud-based system? Then consider Adobe, the $240B corporation that offer a Cloud version of their legendary ‘Photoshop’ system. Even with all of the resources at their disposal, they freely admit on their website that their Cloud-based version may exhibit “a noticeable delay when opening a file” and that the functionality is inferior to the Desktop version.
